4. I got my first kiss from a girl at DisneyLand.

5. Rose Marie, of TV's classic "The Dick Van Dyke Show," paid me to write gags for her when she toured in "4 Girls 4" with Rosemary Clooney.

6. Lucille Ball invited me to her Beverly Hills home while I was in L.A. taping features for VH1.

7. I did live interviews of Paul McCartney and Kirk Douglas on VH1,years before they got booked on Oprah.

8. My TV work helped me pay off my divorced working mother's moving expenses and her new mortgage.

9. My mother's never had any interest in getting cable television.

10. The last guy who asked me to spend the night was a Mormon tourist in 1997.
